Olongapo-born EZ Mil signs with Eminem, Dr. Dre’s Shady Records

 Olongapo-born rapper EZ Mil signs with American rapper Eminem’s Shady Records and legendary record producer Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records on Wednesday, 26 July.

EZ Mil first gained recognition in the Philippines with his “Panalo (Trap Cariñosa)” single which oozes Filipino nationalism in hip-hop-infused folk dance music.



“Welcome EZ Mil to the Shady Records family! Shady, Aftermath and Interscope partner once again signing EZ Mil to all 3 labels,” Shady Records wrote.


Meanwhile, Eminem tweeted that EZ Mil’s “Up Down (Step & Walk)” single led to his signing.


“The singer-songwriter-producer-rapper also reveals the release date DU4LI7Y: REDUX (Virgin Music), the forthcoming deluxe edition of his 2022 LP,” the record label said.


“The project, which is set to drop on August 11, includes “Realest”, an intense new single featuring Eminem, who first heard Ez Mil’s music online and brought him to Dr. Dre, resulting in the co-sign,” it continued.
